Join us in a unique postcard-making experience where creativity knows no bounds. You don't have to be an artist to create something beautiful; each participant discovers the joy of expressing themselves through colors, words, and images that showcase their true essence. Postcards are hand-delivered to survivors, reminding them that they are not alone and encouraging them to share their own voices on our growing tapestry of wisdom and support.
How to Get Involved (anytime!)
Traveling Postcards™ is an opportunity to share your compassion, wisdom and resilience as an act of creative resistance to Gender-Based Violence. GBV is the number one issue affecting 1 in 3 women worldwide and is a public health crisis. GBV disproportionately affects women of color and LGBTQIA+ people, especially Black and Native trans women. It is these voices we most need to magnify.

Share your voice on a postcard. We will give your handmade postcards away as gifts to survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, sex trafficking and political sexual violence.

Attend or Request a Workshop. We offer in-person and remote workshops. ( see options below)

We send your postcards & messages to shelters and aid agencies around the world. Everyone who receives a card is invited to make one.
We provide our postcards, workshops and hospital bags for free to domestic violence shelters and aid agencies working with survivors.
Please Note: Traveling Postcards™ is a trademarked, therapeutic workshop and professionally facilitated by trained workshop leaders. In order for your institution to hold a Traveling Postcards™ workshop or say that you are, you must inform us. Independent workshops that are not hosted by us, are not Traveling Postcard™ workshops.
We offer sliding scale fees if your institution cannot pay the full amount. Please contact us if you’d like to participate but are not sure how best to proceed.
Traveling Postcards™ Workshops
Yes! We offer remote workshops too!
"I most appreciated seeing the way that Traveling Postcards are a sort of self portrait that we offer -- that the wisdom we have to offer others comes from the essence of who we are as unique beings in that particular moment in time. "
"The postcard allowed me to share my feelings and thoughts with another person, even without knowing who that person is, in a way that was intimate-without feeling exposed. After the workshop I felt freer, like I had done something for someone that day and for myself. "
"Traveling Postcards is an amazing project that actually connects the simple act of creating a card into opening the door to the entire world; sending out hope and love to the cosmos."
