Our Mission

Traveling Postcards is a humanitarian organization founded on the premise that art has the ability to heal, feed and transform our lives. Hundreds of unique, hand -made art postcards, containing words of compassion and solidarity are hand delivered to individuals and communities, bringing awareness, hope, visibility, beauty and voice to women and girls whose lives have suffered from isolation, violence or repression.

We connect hearts from around the world despite economic, cultural and geographical distance.

Through hands-on art making workshops, leadership opportunities, educational resources, virtual galleries and open forums we create a platform that provides anyone with the ability to share art, power and potential with the world.

Where after all do human rights begin? In small places,close to home- so close and so small that they cannot be seen on any maps of the world. Such are the places where every man, woman and child seek equal opportunity, equal dignity, without discrimination. Unless these rights have meaning there, they have little meaning anywhere.
